About The Event
Did you know St. Bart's is an official 2023 "Pride in the CLE" Community Benefit Partner? Members of our parish will be marching alongside 13 other Episcopal churches to demonstrate God's love for all creation on June 3rd in downtown Cleveland as part of LGBTQ+ Pride Day. (Rumor has it that our new Bishop Coadjutor will be joining us.)
If you are interested in marching with the group, please contact Russ Tripi.

Some logistical details are provided below:
It's been suggested to meet at Trinity Cathedral parking lot by 9:15 AM Saturday, Jun 3, and then walk over to Public Square at about 9:45 AM. Trinity's parking lot is directly behind the Cathedral - slightly east of 22nd and Prospect Ave. You'll need to get a parking ticket to get through the gate. After parking, enter into the Cathedral piazza. To the right is a receptionist. The receptionist will validate your ticket. In this way everyone can leave when they want - immediately after the March or after spending some time at the Festival on Malls B/C.
If you don't want to walk to Public Square, the RTA Health Line runs along Euclid Ave, one street north of Prospect. (Cost is $2.50.)
Staging will take place at 10am at Public Square, with the march starting at 11am.
The Pride March adheres to City of Cleveland pedestrian traffic guidelines. Pride in the CLE® reserves the right to ask any speech promoting racist, sexist, or violent language to be removed from the March.
Allowed in the March: Banners, posters and handheld signs; Self-propelled bicycles and scooters
Not Allowed in the March: Motorized vehicles of any kind; No distribution of items during march (flyers, candy, confetti, etc.)
Please be considerate: If unvaccinated, we ask that you please MASK UP! If feeling unwell, please consider the health and safety of other festival-goers - we will be back in 2024! We are expecting large crowds. We please ask that you leave pets at home for the march and festival. Please note that there is no designated pet relief area at the festival.
