CHILDCARE & ENRICHMENT

In a dedicated classroom and under the supervision of a professional teacher, children participate in age-appropriate activities and are introduced to basic religious enrichment.

For the Lenten season, we are exploring gratitude by drawing pictures of what we are grateful for and placing them in a gratitude box that we will offer up to the Lord.  We will spend a few days exploring our senses, through the use of sensory bags, a Nicodemus role-playing game, and tasting and discussing the many uses of water.

Additionally, volunteer students will experience what it was like for Lazarus to come out of his tomb by being wrapped (and then unwrapped) in toilet paper.

Drop-ins are welcome for a portion or the entirety of a Sunday Service.

Our religious curriculum is adapted from Lesson Plans that Work”, written by experienced church teachers, published by The Episcopal Church, and designed to follow the Revised Common Lectionary.

What's Happening in the Classroom?

Interested in a Children's Chapel?

We are at the ready to launch a "Children's Chapel"  for children who may have "aged out" of our childcare classroom and would like to learn the Weekly Readings at their level and engage in a related activity.  This could take place during the Liturgy of the Word section of the Service or even during coffee hour.

Please contact our Director of Religious Education, Russ Tripi (rtripi@saintbartohio.org) if you think this would be something of interest to your child.

Meet our Teacher

Hello, my name is Kinsey Robinson and I have been the Sunday School teacher at St. Bartholomew Episcopal Church since 2015. I have been attending St. Barts since my baptism in 1997 and am very happy to be able to educate our youngest members of the parish. I am a licensed PK-3 teacher and I also have a K-12 Reading Endorsement. I hold my first aid and CPR certifications as well as being Epi-Pen trained. I am looking forward to meeting new families and growing our Sunday School family in addition to our community. We hope to see you soon!
