About The Event
Why do we do what we do? Accompany religious studies educator Russ Tripi as he guides his audience into the sanctuary of a church to deconstruct the liturgical rituals, symbols, vessels, linens, and even the architecture in order to uncover the hidden meaning of what each says about tradition and theology.
Intended audience: Open to the public! Anyone who has ever experienced an Episcopal, Roman Catholic, or Lutheran service (Liturgy, Mass) would find this workshop engaging.
Space is limited. Reserve your spot today!
For questions, please contact Russ Tripi: saintbarteducation@gmail.com
This event marks the beginning of a new workshop series entitled "Saturday Sessions." On Saturday mornings, join Russ with his energetic, fast-paced, and often comedic style as he engages the audience in some aspect of religious studies.
Russ Tripi is currently the Director of Religious Education at St. Bartholomew Episcopal Church. He possesses a BA and MA in Theology & Religious Studies from John Carroll University and has over twenty years of professional experience teaching at the high school and college levels.
